New Opel Combo 2012

New Opel Combo 2012

The official photos of another rookie at the IAA were made public today by Opel. This is the new Opel Combo, whose appearance is far from unknown attentive observer. The Opel Combo line is none other than that of the Fiat Doblo, with very few changes, enough to stick a thunderbolt on the front of the house in Rüsselsheim (and sufficient to turn the criticism of readers of various websites that have published the news, including Carscoop . blogspot.com).

Fiat and Opel, in fact, have signed an agreement that will lead to the provision of different models of commercial vehicles, including the Combo.

This maneuver re-badging of the model (which in the past derived from the Opel Corsa) produced in the Tofas factory in Bursa (Turkey) will allow both Partn - Opel and Fiat - to be more competitive against the competition (on all Renault Kangoo - whose new version due out in 2012 - and Citroën Berlingo / Peugeot Partner Ranch or, depending on market).

The engines are - of course - similar to those of Fiat diesel 4 (1.3 90 bhp CDTi, 1.6 CDTi Easytronic automated transmission with 90 hp, 1.6 CDTI 105 hp, 2.0 CDTI 135 hp) and bi-fuel gasoline or 2 (1.4 95 bhp LPG and 1.4 Turbo 120 hp). The Start & Stop device will be available in combination with all engines except the 1.6 CDTi Easytronic automated transmission with 90 hp. The CDTi engine - as you well know the owners of Fiat Multijet - have a range between a coupon and the other extended to 35 thousand km (or one year).

Opel Combo will be available from the German brand is in the cargo configuration - commercial vehicle - in the car, up to seven seats. Two steps are available, 2,755 mm or 3,105 mm, and two roof heights, 185 cm or 2.10 cm, for a cargo space up to 3,800 liters for Opel Combo short wheelbase, and up to 4,600 liters per step long.

European sales should start soon after the Frankfurt Motor Show.
