The Lion House today made public the first pictures of the new hybrid, which uses the engine of the 3008 crossover Hybrid4 (we covered this engine Citroën DS5 talking about), the first diesel car “full hybrid” to be placed on the market, available next autumn.
The objective of Peugeot is clear: to offer a viable alternative to cars like the Volvo XC70 and Audi Allroad, but with an innovative technology that allows to combine remarkable performance motor (the engine of the Peugeot 508 in total RXH delivers 200 hp of maximum power Conditions by a 2.0 HDi diesel engine with 163 hp and an electric unit with additional 37 hp, maximum torque is 450 Nm) and four-wheel drive (supplied by the combustion engine at the front, from the rear electric motor) to consumption and emissions reduced to a minimum 4.2 liters of diesel are sufficient to cover 100km, while only 109 grams of CO2 per kilometer issued.
The ambitious position (toward the top of the range) Peugeot RXH is also reflected by these accessories as standard, which – among others – include: panoramic glass roof, LED headlamps, alloy wheels 18 ” media system, complete with navigation system, head-up display (monitor positioned in front of the driver, provides useful information), opening doors and keyless ignition.
On prices, Peugeot has not yet unbalanced, probably will be unveiled in Frankfurt this fall.
